Excellence Diploma – Medical Innovation of the Year (Romanian Healthcare Awards 2025)

We are proud to announce that the project “Notified Body Increased Capacity (NoBoCap)” was among the finalists of the Romanian Healthcare Awards 2025, receiving an Excellence Diploma in the category “Medical Innovation of the Year.”

The project addresses a critical gap in Europe by supporting medical device manufacturers — especially SMEs from countries without Notified Bodies — in strengthening their regulatory knowledge and readiness within the EU framework.

Through a consortium of 11 European partners (universities, clusters, AI companies, and Notified Bodies), NoBoCap provides training, knowledge, and digital tools that enhance efficiency and facilitate access to market for innovative medical devices and IVDs.

The Excellence Diploma was received on behalf of the consortium by Flaviana Rotaru, President of ROHEALTH – The Health and Bioeconomy Cluster (project coordinator), together with Madalina Argaseala (Senior Expert) and Camelia Bulat (Senior Consultant).
